The State Service on Supervision of Hydraulic Construction Safety

The State Service on Supervision of Hydraulic Construction Safety is an authorized executive body of state power that ensures state control in the field of hydraulic structures at the design stage and after commissioning.

The State Service was founded on August 1, 2014 by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan under the number 511, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Safety of Hydraulic Structures" No. 666 of December 29, 2010.

The aim of the Service is to implement the state policy to ensure the safety of the hydra objects. The objectives of the Service are to monitor compliance with rules and regulations, their compliance with safety criteria, and address emerging security issues, both with respect to the structure itself and the safety in relation to legal entities and individuals, and the environment.

The State Service is located in the Management Skim of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The State Service carries out its activities in cooperation with other state institutions, public organizations and international organizations.

State Service in its activities is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the constitutional laws of the Republic of Tajikistan and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, resolutions of the Majlisi Milli, Majlisi Namoyandagon and Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, decree and orders of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, international legal acts which recognized by Tajikistan, orders of the Ministry.

The State Service is a legal entity, it has a seal with the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan and its name in the official language, relevant seals, stamps, forms and is financed from the single settlement account of the Central Administration of the Central Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan.
